This privacy policy describes how Custom Software, Inc. (“MapItRight,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website at https://mapitright.com or our cloud platform.
Data we collect
We collect three categories of data: account data (name, work email, organization, role) when you create an account or request a demo; customer data (your fiber network records, designs, asset inventories) which you upload to our platform; and usage data (anonymized analytics about how the platform is used, helping us improve the product).
How we use your data
We use your account data to authenticate you, communicate with you, and bill you. We use your customer data exclusively to provide the platform service to you — we do not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties. Usage data is aggregated and anonymized for product analytics.
Where data lives
All customer data is stored in AWS US regions (us-east-1 and us-west-2 by default). Enterprise customers can request specific region pinning. Data does not cross international borders without explicit customer authorization.
Security
Customer data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Access is controlled by role-based permissions. Contact support@mapitright.com if you need security documentation for procurement or compliance reviews.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct, and delete your customer data at any time via the platform’s admin tools or by emailing us at support@mapitright.com. On contract termination, customer data is exported on request and deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies — strictly necessary cookies for authentication and a limited set of first-party analytics cookies (Plausible-style, no cross-site tracking).
