API & Integrations

Connect your operation to your fiber map

Use MapItRight's REST API to link billing, provisioning, monitoring, and internal tools to the same project map your design and field teams use. Keep plant inventory, customer status, and operational context in one place instead of switching between disconnected systems.

The problem

Why your fiber map and your operation run on different data

Customer status lives outside the map

Your billing or provisioning system knows who is online, awaiting installation, or disabled, but the plant map does not. Support and field teams open two systems to answer one subscriber question.

Monitoring alerts do not show up on the map

A fault appears in your monitoring platform, but the map your team uses for plant context was not updated. Response slows down because alarms and geography live in separate tools.

Data handoffs still depend on manual exports

Teams move information with spreadsheets, one-off exports, and custom scripts because plant data is not easy to connect to the rest of the stack. Every handoff adds delay and translation errors.

How it works

How API integrations work in MapItRight

Connect, push, operate.

STEP 01

Connect your systems

Use the MapItRight REST API to link your administration backend, monitoring platform, or internal scripts to your private deployment. API access is available on request for integration use cases.

STEP 02

Push operational context to the map

Update customer statuses on the fiber map from your admin backend and feed outage or network events from monitoring tools so teams can see operational context where plant actually lives.

STEP 03

Move data in and out of projects

Import KMZ, KML, GeoJSON, and VETRO exports into projects, and export project data back out to GeoJSON or KML when you need backup, migration, or downstream processing.

Capabilities

What you can integrate

REST API access

Read and write project and plant data through JSON endpoints. API access is available on request.

Administration backend links

Connect billing or provisioning systems so customer status can be reflected against plant on the map.

Monitoring integrations

Bring outage and network event context into the map view your support and operations teams already use.

Import formats

Bring outside data in with KMZ, KML, GeoJSON, and VETRO FiberMap exports.

Export formats

Export project data to GeoJSON or KML for backup, migration, and downstream tools.

Private deployment fit

Integrate against your self-hosted MapItRight environment so data stays inside your operation's stack.

MapItRight makes OSP plant documentation quick and easy.
